Wood Sugars Theater

In 2008, Donny and Eliaz Rodriguez commenced a new journey as they delved into their love of the live. This was in the form of The Loitering Hole, a play written by Matthew J. Swanson and Donny K. Rodriguez about infidelity, complacency, and karaoke. It was mounted at Gorilla Tango Theatre of Chicago in the winter of 2009, bringing in Jeff Phillips and Adam Fauser to the operation as actors. Following up the sold out success play, Wood Sugars is in the throws of taking a more serious look at comedy as they are developing several more plays to mount in early 2010.

In the spring of 2010, be on the lookout for their midwest tour, brining an assundry of mediums on the road including stand up comedy, readings, and screenings.
